How to Enable AI Translation in RetroArch (G11 Pro Console)
AI Translation allows you to translate on-screen game text into English in real-time using an overlay - perfect for games that aren’t in your native language.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Start any game using RetroArch.
- Press both joysticks together >This opens the RetroArch menu.
- Press the B button to go back to the main settings menu.
- Scroll and select Settings.
- Inside Settings, go to AI Service.
- Enable the option: Enable AI Service → turn it ON.
- Set translation URL to - http://ztransalate.net/services
- Set the Service Mode to your preferred option: Image to Text (Overlay) - Recommended for most users
- Choose your Target Language (e.g., English). Note: Leave Source Language as default - RetroArch will auto-detect when possible.
- Go back to Settings, then select Inputs > Hotkeys
- Scroll down to AI Service > Press "A" and then the button you want to use as your translation trigger (example: R3 or L3+R3).
- Exit the menu and return to your game.
How to Use AI Translation In-Game:
- When you see non-English text, press the hotkey you set
- RetroArch will capture that part of the screen and show the translated text as an on-screen overlay
